IM parts
If anyone knows aof a truckl being parted out that passed IM let me know.
I need to get my '78 Crewcab IM'd. I am thinking about buying an F150 froma coworker just for those parts, but I hate to do that and then have to find a buyer for the ret of the parts. IM is annoying. |
one of the few
well we must be the only 3 guys in anchorage or eagle river that have 70's fords that get im'd. do you really think our few trucks are causing all this pollution? wow i drive a whole 2 miles a day max. i think the laws for 70's vehicles and im is really out of hand. in california you dont have to im a pickup if its 76 or older.

I have to get my 75' IM'd every two years here in Fairbanks. I put about 3000 miles a year on it so it is really important to the well being of our planets air quality that I get it done. You guys down there are not the only ones that have to deal with this ridiculous emission stuff.

I think it sucks that we have to have all teh IM parts, but the dealers don't have to sell the parts.
|
What exactly do ya need?
|
I need the soup can, air cleaner, the vaccuum amplifier and all the little vaccum valves and t's.
The amplifier is the hard to find part. |
I have an air cleaner that may work, don't know if it will have what you need on it. It came with my '75 250 and was only needed to hook up the heat riser parts.
