curb weight
 
i was wondering if anybody knows where i can find out the curb weight of a 1992 ford f-150 shortbed flare-side 302 5-speed

The best bet, unless you want the generic answer is to go to a truck scale, with a full fuel tank and weigh the truck. There are tons of scales around you can have access to and most at no charge. I weighed mine at the local wood/tree/landscape dump here. They were happy to do it and I left a $5.00 tip for their trouble.

i seen a 1987 f150 the weight is 3657

I have a 92 F150,XLT,regular cab, shortbed styleside ,4x4,factory skid plates,quad front shocks,stabilizer bars front and rear, 5.0, 5 speed,aftermarket class IV hitch and it weighed in at 4348 pounds with a full tank of gas.

The 4x4 option addes 250/300 pounds and the steel styleside short box adds about 50 pounds--I believe.

If your truck is a 4x2 XLT with the fiberglass short flareside bed--it should weigh about 4000 pounds.
