73 Ford pickup restoration
The restoration on the 73 Ford is coming along really well. The 2-tone shell white/sequoia brown paint job looks exellent! I've been working on putting everything back together. I have most of the chrome back on it, and I've started working on the interior. I put the grille on it yesterday. It's looking really good!

Looking forward to seeing it when you are done John. I'm sure it will be a knock out!

I did a lot of work on the 73 this week, and it's really coming along well. It should be all done soon! Basically all that's left is for the body shop to finish up a few minor things on it and then it will be finished. Of course, when it's done I'll have to give the truck a complete detail job to get it cleaned up and looking nice. That will be done next spring.

I got to see the pretty 73 of Johns. I've dubbed it "Beefcake." It looks great. You'll all be surprised at the excellent work that's been done to it. The first time I saw it, it was just primered and torn apart and masked off. I'm impressed.........

The 73 is all done, and I'm looking forward to picking it up from the body shop in about a month. It is going to need a full detail job when I get it back because it's been in the shop for about a year. I'm really looking forward to having it out on the roads this summer! :-X06

73 is a good year, I have one that has been in my family since brand new, it only has 97,000 actual miles on it,and there are a few pictures of it here on the site, it is the stock green color that was so popular in 73, it has been taken very good care of and is 90% or better original and all major part numbers match good luck with your 73 Harold

Thanks John I bet your truck is also outstanding my truck was originally bought in Denver Colorado, I moved it here to northern Arizona in 1986 it only had 20,000 miles on it then I put the rest of the miles on Hauling fire wood and boats to and from Lake powell, it still runs and drives good but I am to weak for the standard steering, and too hard to launch boats with with lake level soo low so i bought me a newer 92 4x4 to do that with, and I dont cut wood any more either, wore myself out doing that and working on the railroads for 36 plus years so now I are retarded. thanks Harold
