390 Engine Decal Placement???
I have pretty much have the engine bay of my '68 w/390 looking good. Repainted fender liners, under side of hood, engine, etc. I bought a couple of new decals from Dennis Carpenter Reproductions to go on the engine. One says "FRONT". It is white with black lettering. I am not sure where it goes. Anybody ever seen this decal or know where it should be placed?

I'd say it should go up front somewhere. Sorry, I couldn't help it. Actually, I haven't a clue. samckernan |

I beleive it goes on top of the air cleaner assembly. Note-ably, as the sticker says, at the front of it. (Pardon the redundancy) It's so people don't try and install the assembly backwards, and that way all the hoses line up. It's a bit of an idiot proofer, more than anything.
