A $200 77 F250 4x4!?

My dad just bought a 77 F250 4x4 for $200. The truck does run, but there is no front driveshaft, so the 4WD doesn't work. Needless to say, the body is VERY rough!!!!

4x4

Sounds like a perfect project truck to me John. That is the kind of project I'd love to get my hands on. A trip or two to U - Pull - It and bingo.............better looking/running truck. Let us know how it turns out.

I agree, this would be a good project truck. Unfortunately, dad isn't a big one on fixing up his vehicles! It'll probably end up just sitting along side all his other "projects". My dad owns many vehicles, and most of them are in need of total restoration. Maybe someday he will start fixing them up?

Dad got stuck!

Here's a funny story for you all. My dad has some old junk pickups in a back field at his farm house, and he decided to drive his $200 77 4x4 out back to look for some parts. Well, it was quite muddy that day, and dad got his 4x4 stuck in the mud! Being that it has no front driveshaft, the 4WD doesn't work. He ended up having to use his tractor to pull the truck out of the mud. Needless to say, he's intensified his search for a front driveshaft for the truck!
