Over 275,000 miles on 100% biodiesel

Thought I would post how many miles our 10 vehicles have on B100, 100% biodiesel. It's good to show demonstrated performance so others can see that biodiesel is, in fact, a perfectly good fuel for any diesel.

The list is all of our B100 vehicles, what the mileage was when we started using B100, mileage now, and total miles on B100. Hadn't updated this in awhile, so the total miles of 276,000 surprised me. Amazing how fast it's gone up. A recycling truck driving 75 miles a day, 5 days a week really adds up fast. The total miles on B100 for our four recycling trucks is 152,000 and the total miles on B100 for our Volkswagen TDI's is 124,000. We have a 2004 Ford F-450 flatbed truck on order that we should receive next month, and are adding a 2001 Beetle to our rental fleet next month as well.

Update - 342,750 now!

Well, we're spoiled by living on Maui, Hawaii, so we don't have biodiesel cold weather issues to deal with. You might want to post a new topic to find the answer to your question. Also, two other biodiesel sites to look at are www.biodieselnow.com and www.biodiesel.infopop.cc
