Hubcap identification

Can anyone tell me what year my hubcaps might be from? :-huh I have not yet located a 'hubcap gallery' where I might find them, and I'm not confident that mine are the original '60 caps. Appreciate the help.

I think those are passenger car 57 caps? Check my gallery for a shot of 57-60 caps. A user named barry sells 57-60 caps. -4speed

I have some more of the 57-60 hubcaps here and have another nice set on the way here.I can send pics of what I have now and some of the set coming in if anyone is interested. Email me off site. I also have them for the F-250's also.

4-Speed, thanks for all those pics in your gallery. Where did you find those images of the available options? Pretty cool.
Although I don't have the correct caps, they don't look too bad on the truck. Barry, I'll get up with you off-line.
Thanx all.

I collect 1960 ford truck memorbilia. The options are from a dealer catalog for 1960 to show customers what to option. -4speed

I've a complete set of correct H.B.'s for your truck if your are interested.
Click on my name, that'll expose the P.M. of e-mail options, if you wish to contact me about them.

I recall those being used on 55 and 56 passenger cars, and not on any trucks. They look good on your truck.

StarFox 10-13-2004 07:13 PM

Thanks for all the comments and offers, Col Flashman you have email.
Does anyone know if these mid-fifties hubcaps have any value? Are they common?

SteV8e 10-14-2004 07:59 AM

It is hard to tell the condition from your photo, but I would estimate between $5 and $25 each. You can check completed auctions on ebay to see how they sell. They are not rare.

Extremely comman that I've seen.
It's the Ford H.C. that pops up the most from the era for sale since I joined e-Bay in '98.

barry 10-14-2004 11:53 AM

I looked at the pic in your gallery and you can't use the correct hubcaps as the ones in the pic pop over the center of the rim and the correct ones pop into the centers. Someone put car rims on the truck sometime in it's life.

Barry

That's interesting Barry, I had not even put any thought into the fact that I might have car rims. Guess I'll keep what I have for the time being and put on something chrome later.
Thanks everyone for the comments.
