Mechanic in Detroit/R.O. area?

Any good mechanics around the Detroit area that can give me a free or cheap estimate on my truck? I have a 00 XLT that is having suspension problems like it has an extreme toe out on the drivers side. Due to threats of layoffs at my job I cant spend too much on this right now and just need to know what needs to be fixed and will have to start reading!

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Start by looking in a shop manual. They are available at any public library. What kind of truck? Ranger, F-Series, 4x2 or 4x4?
Some adjustments you can work on yourself with a tape measure, string and plumb bob, other adjustments, you will need a kit to make corrections.
