Are you looking for a power rating? I thinkt he 2.9 is around 150/175 or so, not positive on that one.

The 1987 2.9 V6 was rated at 140 HP @ 4600 RPM and 170 ft. lbs. of torque @ 2600 RPM. It has a bore of 3.66 inches and a stroke of 2.83 inches. It is a 177 CID engine. In '87, it had a compression ration of 9:1. The firing order is 1-4-2-5-3-6. It was timed at 10 degrees BTDC. I hope that helps you out some!

I don't think the specs changed on the 2.9L for the entire life of the production run.
