The GMC's styling is still not very well executed, compared to the Ford. The Ford is WAY better looking. The grill on the Jimmy is too large in proportion, and is too promonate. The light lens take up all the available remaining space, creating a cheap, plasticy look. The bumper on the GMC is poorly intergrated, with awkward discontinuies in line and form.

I remember when Ford re-styled the Mustang in 94. It was a great new look for the times, way better than the enlarged Geo Storm (read Camaro and F body). In a few years GM came out with the Olds Alero, and the Pontiac (I think Grand AM) that were obvious, but inferior, rip off's, of the SN-95 Mustang's basic look. I think what GM does is put the image of the design they hope to copy on a computor, and then morph it using soft ware.

I think that grill is a little too big, like the dodge, the wide mouth bass is a good analogy. It sure does look better than a Titan though!

At least they got rid of those God ugly headlights. The only thing uglier than a Chebby 1500, 2500 or 3500 is a Chebby Avalance. What was Chebby thinking?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks GM ( giant mistake ) has lost it's way . Thay have some of the ugliest vehicles out there ! So why do people buy a truck that BAD looking ..............

The similarities of the grill are uncanny. but the 02 GMCs don't look that much worse than the Ford in my opinion.

I think that the spy pic, the f-150 and the escalade's front end all look similar.

Couldn't agree more. A lot of the chebby guys I talk with don't like the new trucks either. I can't figure it out, it seems the harder they try to make them look tough, the worse they get.

That is what happens when a woman trys to make a "tough" truck.

I really think that pick is photoshoped. Im guessing they took the older GMC front end, replaced the grill with the current F-150 XL chrome grill and messed with the hood a tad. Just check out the shape of the grill, its exactly the same. If that truely is a spy pic...wow :-huh
