Where's Itasca? How do you get there from I-55 and Illinois 53?

Jigsaw 08-08-2004 05:57 PM

Rt 53 and Rt 19 (Irving Park Rd). Take 355 North to Rt20 (Lake Street). Right to 53 [1/2 block] left on 53 or just come up 53 to 19 turn left 1/2 block. WoodFire Restaurant. Every Saturday night. Live band, vintage cars, trucks and motorcyles. :)

That sounds pretty interesting. Vintage? Cool. I'll try and check it out.

Another good cruise night is at Steak'N Shake on Harlem(RT.43) in Tinley Park on Friday nights from 6 PM to ??. Usually, they get over 150 classic cars and trucks. I didn't go last Friday, but I talked to a buddy of mine who did, and he said he got there at about 7 o'clock and the lot was already packed. Really good turnout last week! You should try to make it up there some Friday, they need more Ford trucks. Also, there is a car show this Sunday in Westmont from 9 until 3. I think registration is from 8 until 11 if you want to enter your truck in the show. I think Westmont is close to Bolingbrook. This is a pretty good car show. I won 2nd place there with my 79 F100 last year!

We'll have to see, but I may be fishing this weekend.

NascarNut 08-12-2004 11:36 PM

Fish can wait, car shows can't. :-X10
