Mud Drags

Ok for all you Iowa guys, and yes anyone else too, this coming sunday Aug 1st, there is a mud drag at cpr mud drags in reasoner IA, and I will have the ranger up and running for it, we have alot of fun, so anyone that doesn't want to race can just come up, and watch me make little boys with bowties, and moprs, cry. Or bring you trucks and womp on some chebbies, and get em muddy. Sign in by noon, and raceing starts at 1pm. :-wink

I'd go if A - I knew where Reasoner was, and B - if church didn't conflict.

That ranger is awesome though. Though its not much of a ranger...lol its a 1/2 ton Ranger.

Do you still have your old F150 Mud Racer?

Well Reasoner, is just south of Newton off of hwy 14 for anyone that is interested (just look for the sign for reasoner) go into town to the stop sign turn left then follow the signs. Or if anyone wants let me know, and they can meet me, and follow.
And the F150 has been used to make parts of 3 other race trucks now, it was still here until the city complained about it.

Well just got back from the mud drags, The new engine is running pretty good for only having 1/2hr total time on it before loading it on the trailer, and no testing time.
Ended up getting a first in superstock, and third in modified, but think that my shifting patterns need to change, with dropping 50ci the cam is starting to really come on at 7200 shift (I watched the tape, and you can really hear it start to unwind when I shift) so guess will have to raise my shift lite for the next race, which will be sept 6 if anyone is interested
