At the moment about 29000, unfortunately due to our small market, all cars are a lot more here. :( But at least we get to see most of the good cars even if I can't afford them

cool and FTE'er from the wrong side of the world... I'd love to get down there and do some hiking on the island...

is that true that they don't sell chevies down there?

Nah, none whatsoever :) They have Holden, which is a branch of GM (the maker of the new Pontiac GTO), but apart from that, nothing, no Dodges either, aren't we lucky... but no mustang either x(
If you want to come hiking in Australia, you will have to check out Tasmania, many of the places literally haven't been explored by anyone, and some of the best 4wding in the world.

I spent 6 days 7 nights in Sydney on R&R from Vietnam. Beautiful city. Very clean, polite people ( for the most part ). Considering, we GIs were down there to party and feel human for a week, before returning to war. Oh yeah...cars.... that's what we were talking about!!!!

Australia DOES have some nice Fords. The older Aussie 302 blocks were made really good and were valuable for racing engines here. You guys have a lot less environmental restrictions than we do here, so cars with some serious snort can still be put out, as far as I know. I spent some time, one evening, looking through the Ford Australia website and was impressed.

You still drive on the wrong side of the road though.:-X10
