wolf creek pass

hey guys/gals i am from iowa but am a long haul truck driver, i just got home from pulling a load of pipe out to durango for the new medical center they are building there. i got to go over wolf creek pass for the first time and i must say WOW, if it wasnt for all the construction they are doing there, it would have been a awesome ride. It still was great and the views were breathtaking. It is defintly one of my favorites now to go over. although taking hwy 6 over loveland pass is still one of the best rides i have ever took.

I love Wolf Creek in the summer, but I hate it in the winter! LOL

You should try it on a motorcycle. :)

Colorado has some GREAT passes, and as long as you didnt burn your brakes up...lol...like some of the flats drivers do, im glad you enjoyed it. I drive Loveland Pass, US6 in my Ford a few times a month just to get away from the highway.

yes that pass has awesome views, but no fun with a heavy load.

I don't mind it cause if Im on it that means I'm gonna be skiing it and after motorcycling that is my most favorite thing to do.

Try Red Mountain Pass of you want some pucker power (IN the snow)
