I am having problems with the after market motor mounts. I have tried several none of them will line up. I have a 81 F-100 stepside. has any one else ran in to this problem. The number that is on the old one doesn't even match to a ford number even though it has ford written on it.

Try posting in the 80-86 Truck forum, the Inline 6 forum, or maybe even the Big Bronco forum. This forum is general only, no Ford tech here. Make sure to read under the forum title to make sure you get the question in the right spot.

I was going to start a survey and asking people why they Post their questions on this forum instead of Looking for the correct forum to post their question.
