Join Chapter requests
 

When someone asks to join a chapter and they are accepted, does the user get a confirmation of some kind?
I just ask because when I accept a new member into the Texas Chapter, I have not sent anything...I just thought about it a few minutes ago.

I don't know if FTE sends a message or not. Out of courtesy I send a short "Welcome" email to let them know they be legally membershipped and ask them to stop in to our "Introductions" thread and tell us a bit about themselves.

I too send them a short message that they have been accepted and then post in the new member thread adding a link to their profile page.

That's what I thought, I should have thought to do that myself. I will from here on out to help make folks feel welcome!
