Help Me convince Hubby to let me get a lift!
 

undefinedundefinedundefinedHey guys. I want a 4-6 inch lift for my truck, but my husband won't let me :-X16 . Any suggestions on how to convince him? :-X02

lots of begging, lots of whining, and a few other things i cant speak of here.

why is he against it?

I'd love to go and just buy one, but you know... Then I'd be divorced cause you just can't do that in a marriage. He knows they look good. I think he's just upset with me still that I have the nicer truck. Tee hee :p

good that you and your hubby talk about things like that, before it is done. if you keep trying, i am sure he will come around to your thinking.{i always do!}

yes lift kits are expensive, and they do not come with everything you need to do the job right no matter what the manufacturer says! time you are through with a 600 dollar lift kit it can cost double that. then there are the wheels and tires, with lift comes the need for larger rubber!
the last truck i lifted ended up costing a little over 3000 bucks before it was thru.
it drove and handeled great at 75/80 m p h, but it wasnt cheap to get it there.

are you sure you need a 4/6 in lift? you will be suprised what a 3 in body lift can do for a truck, and not cost an arm and a leg.
