First Annual Red Cross Motorcycle Rally in Central Minnesota!
I thought I would post this here also to catch more attention. I have it posted in the Minnesota forum but it doesn't get visited much by Minnesotans.
I hate to see the first anual rally become a flop :'( for the Red Cross so I hope to see you there and enjoying the warm summer day on your bike. I'm going to be their with my little Yamaha 650 & my Brother-In-Law is apearing with his chopped Harley. It doesn't really matter what you ride. A BSA, Harley, Buell, Victory, Honda, Yamaha, Triumph, Norton, or even a Trike. Join other riders as you experience the clean, fresh air of the Northwoods. Take in the beautiful Chippewa National Forest and the wilderness areas surrounding Leech Lake. Enjoy casinos, restaurants and shops as you ride through one of Minnesota’s magnificent scenic regions. 200 MILES OF A TRUE UP-NORTH EXPERIENCE! REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN Saturday, June 19 10:00 am - 11:00 am Meet at the Home Depot Parking Lot in Brainerd. Pre-registration fee until June 1, 2004 $25.00 per bike, $10.00 additional rider. (must postmarked or received by June 1, 2004) After pre-registration date: $35.00 per bike, $10.00 additional rider. All proceeds from the Ride for the Red events will be used to support local Disaster Services, Armed Forces Emergency Services, Health and Safety programs, the Lifeline program and the Blood Services program. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN 10:00 am - 11:00 am Meet at the Home Depot Parking Lot in Brainerd. Pick-up participant packet and complimentary button, visit with vendors, purchase raffle tickets for many wonderful prizes, and buy your Ride for the Red merchandise. RIDE BEGINS 11:00 am Hear the engines roar as we get ready to ride! Experience 200 miles of a true up-north experience. NORTHERN LIGHTS CASINO & HOTEL Take a break and stop for a box lunch provided by the Leech Lake Tribe. This will also give you an opportunity to check out the other bikes, seek First Aid needs, and purchase additional raffle tickets. PIT STOPS Stop, gas up, stretch out and enjoy our many fine northern cities: Baxter, Hackensack, Walker, Bena and Crosslake to name a few. THE END OF THE ROAD 6:00 pm Meet back at the Home Depot Parking Lot Feel the excitement as the bikes return from a day of riding. This is your last chance to enter into our raffle and buy Ride for the Red merchandise. Raffle drawing to be held immediately following the RIDE.
