Hidden Albums in Gallery
 

When I make a new album I will check the box that says make album hidden. Later I will recieve an email letting me know that this album has been hedden and giving me a description of the meanings. Is this a standard email for when you create a new hidden album or am I doing something wrong? :-huh

When Administration or Moderators hide an album an e-mail is sent out.

If a user hides their own album,I doubt a message is sent.

Then I must be doing something wrong because I put a check in the hidden box. That should make it hidden right?

I had the same problem also.

I tried to create a hidden gallery. I even doubled checked to make sure the box was check marked.

When I looked into my profile I saw it wasn't hidden. I then logged out to see if it was a cookie thing. The hidden profile was still visible.

Now instead of taken a chance on getting in trouble I just deleted the hidden gallery.

A hidden album means it is hidden from the Main gallery page.
but,
It isn't hidden to anyone visiting your gallery.
