Can I Get Some Traction?

How can I get my Lightning to hook up? I love smoking the tires but I also want to be able to launch it hard when the race is on. I've seen some old style Lakewood slapper bars for the Lightning. Any recommendations? I don't want the dealership to have any excuses for axing any warranty work though.

I have a '93 and used the Lakewoods...work fine for me. Last time out I went 1.88 60' on BFG street radials.

Use drop shackles and some traction bar and your good to go. The drop shackles will prerotate the rear end -2 degrees which will preload to help w/ leaf spring wind up and distortion. It will also lower the rear to make it sit level. Looks trick!!

BTW, I'm hitting 1.8's @60 ft.
