Knivemaker - I do appreciate you looking out for me. Thanks :-X22

Ray - I wish I could, but Saturday is "cooling system day". I'm swapping out the heater core, thermostat, radiator, and heater hoses.

Our trip is getting close and I still have several other smaller tasks to do on the truck and then engineer getting all the furniture in. And that's gonna be a challenge. There's a hutch that just fits between the wheel wells when laying on its back, and with its doors and glass that's the way it needs to travel. Then I have to build a plywood platform over it to stack the other furniture on, which includes (but is not limited to) a dining room table and 5 chairs, another hutch/secretary, two round tables, and a rocking chair. Gonna be a challenge and a lot of trial and error.

Kevin - Used to live in Cushing myself, but probably before you were borne, like in '54 or so. Anyway, glad you are here. (As state chapter leader I get to ignore the "post one time only" warning.) I'm planning a get-together, probably in Sept, so keep an eye out for the announcement on that. It will be in Skiatook.

Only in Oklahoma have I seen a surprise dime sized hail storm pop up out of nowhere. Ugh, my fam and I were in Tulsa to catch despicable me2 and when we got to 169 and 44 the sky opened up. Everyone was going nuts trying to find something to fit their vehicle under. All we could do was get half the suv under the QT gas awning and hope the side windows don't get busted out. That was 'fun'. Do they have hail storms in Florida?...................

Hurricanes, Tornados and lots of bugs that fu** up the front of you vehicles. Not to mention the salt mist coming off the ocean. Hot summers. Crowded beaches. Tourist traps. And PRO LGBT Disney....
