Noble Central Section Here is my 04 F150 XL Heritage. Some of you may recognize it. It used to be in the Tulsa area. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=79681 |
Welcome to the site. That's one nice truck you got there!
|
Thanks. I actually bought it for my daughter to drive in a couple of years, but I'm really enjoying it.
|
I'd be enjoying that nice looking truck also!!!

It's really nice in the mpg category. My company truck is a GMC 1500HD crew cab 4x4. It likes the gas! This one is great, and I have actually been driving it this last week. I need to get new shocks on it though.

I am not sure you want to travel this far but... I-75 and Hwy20/116th St N. Near Owasso is a salvage. When I had my 69 and 72 f-100s they had more Fords than anything else. You might google them and give them a call to see what they have. Good luck!
That place is called North Yale Auto Parts http://www.northyaleautoparts.com/INFO.HTM. Most of their stuff is pretty well picked over, but still worth a trip. Seems that they hardly get rid of anything, so depending on what's needed they might have it.. Danny's Auto Salvage just north of the Tulsa airport carries a lot of truck parts. I'm not sure how far back they go though http://www.dannysautosalvage.com/. Of course depending on what you need and budget, there's always http://www.lmctruck.com/ |
OT- Salvage yard hunt
Thanks guys for the tips. I found a couple of good ones in Wichita Falls too. Found a couple of original window cranks and a tailgate. Who knew it would be so hard to find a tailgate!
Now I'm still after a three on the tree that can be re-built. I found one, but it's completely rusted I'll check those out, for sure. I don't mind driving... and I need a bunch of little parts that noone's going to go looking for me. Amanda |
