93 Ranger 4.0 OHV thermostat location
 

I need help finding my thermostat on my 4.0. I have only had the truck 48 hours and don't know my way around under the hood yet. I can tell the thermo is toast. Please tell me what to remove to get to it or where the dang thang is!x(

follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. That will be the thermostat housing. some don't, I prefer to remove the belt tensioner to get at the thermostat.

That is all anybody has to say? No other directions.

I'm not sure what else you want to know. Where the hose connects to the engine is the thermostat housing. Remove the housing and you have the thermostat.

I replaced it. It pretty much sucked ass to get to.
