Intrest in summer gathering?
 

Hi everyone,

We have had several people come to visit the chapter now, so I thought I would put out a feeler for intrest in a summer gathering? So if your interested and have any ideas on a place or time PLEASE post them. I think it would be alot of fun to get together and talk trucks or whatever!

Here are a few ideas.
1. Weekend campout
2. A daylong Picnic
3. Meet at a state park
4. Meet on the Cranberry in March and go trout fishing..lol
5. Your ideas

I will leave this open for a couple of weeks and the we can take a vote on the results.

Fishin the Cranberry gets my vote! If Im in state, Ill be there, chances are I wont be unfortunately :(

Did lots of trout fishing in the 79 my dad had. Mostly Anthonys Creek and Cherry and Williams River. Have had fun going up the road on the North fork on anthony in dad's bronco and mine. The creek crosses the road several times and it is great to split the creek and spray water all over the Beast. Now they have put a concrete slab in the creek at every crossing so it isn't too deep as a kid the holes would get deep enough to be over the tires all the time. Still fun though.

My Dad was raised in Richwood, thats why I like to go down
there fishing all the time. Ever drove up little laural creek? It's just outside Richwood. I've spent many hours running up and down those mountains fishing. I can't wait till I get back down there.

Well we didn't get to much of a responce on the get together, so I will throw out an invite. I'm going trout fishing on the Cranberry river this Sat morning. I should be there around 8:00am. I will be fishing between the lower gate campground and woodbine. So if anyone likes trout fishing, come join the fun.
