Three Fifty What

351w,h, and i think there is a m. What is that all about? Is one better than the other?????? I have a 351 Iam going to have to replace so any help would be nice. Do you have to go through the numbers to ID the engin?

What vehicle is it in?
The 351W and 351HO are the same engine with some minor performance differences. The 351C was AFAIK never used in trucks. The 351M is related to the C engine but hasn't been used since 1985.

87 F250. Lots of problems with it.

If it's the original engine, it's a 351W of some kind
