Intermittent ABS light and No cruise control
 

I have a 1994 Ford E350 Club Wagon van, 5.8L motor. The ABS light comes on at times and will stay on for a few weeks and then go back out for a few weeks. I have no cruise control. When I am driving over 45mph and press the "on" button for cruise nothing happens nor do any of the other buttons work. I took the van to an auto electrical shop. They checked for ABS codes and didn't find any (light was out at the time). They told me the brake tone ring on the one front tire was pretty greased up so the cleaned it and sent me on my way. Sure enough about a week later the ABS light came back on. Anyone have any suggestions as to where to start to diagnose and correct this on my own? I'm pretty mechanically inclined so with the proper guidance I hope to fix this and not have to pay $$$ for a shop to do it. Any help would be great! Thanks

This may not apply to your van but my son was complaining his ABS light was on constantly on his 1990.

Opened the hood and his reservoir was real low. Added fluid and the light went out.

Hope it is simple for ya. I was already looking up prices for an un-needed ABS module.

Thanks. Ill check the brake fluid but i think its more complicated since the cruise control doesnt work

Same thing on my 91, except ABS doesn't work at all. I don't care enough to fix it.

My ABS doesnt work either, even when the light is out. It just annoys me. I would really like to fix it especially the cruise control
