Quarter Panel Replacement

3 Attachment(s)
Hey All,

I've had the Bronco kind of put away for a while, I've been doing rear quarter panel replacement when I've had the time. I have the new panel tack welded up but I'm not sure if I should fill every single gap with a bead? It just seems like it's to time consuming and I suck at welding.

I was thinking now that its welded up I could grind it all down and then do fiberglass filler. Any opinions?

You should post this in the bodywork section, you might get a few professionals to respond. I would have it welded all the way. But if you are not confident in your welding abilities, I'd pay someone else to do it, that way you won't warp anything.

Are you going to replace the inner wheel house? If you do, I would drill some extra drain holes, and panel bond that piece in, since that is where they rust out.

Thanks I'll post this there as well. I only cut out a the edge which was rotted. I honestly don't want to spend the money on replacements so I was going to come up with something else seal the inside of the fender well out.
