The girl I talked with knew about the 700 sites for FTE. She feels that the reservations can ONLY be made by Laurel.....??

BTW: Standard rate for 700's is $70/nite.......600's $72/nite....... 800's $72/nite.......

As I was driving to work WAYYYY too early this morning, I had one of those "DUH" moments when I realized that the date my son announced yesterday for his wedding is also the tail end of the G2G. Since I cannot miss the festivities around his wedding, and I doubt I can get him to change the date, I think my choices are to either come for a much shorter stay at the G2G and head home in time for rehearsal and wedding, or skip G2G 2017 completely. Jodi was fully onboard when I spoke with her about things yesterday evening (before I remembered the wedding date), so I have to figure out what to do now and book if we are coming.

We are there starting Saturday Doug so even if you have to split early, you'll get some time in. I hope even a short stay is in the cards for you...

I need to find out what sort of plans my son has for the second half of the week. If the festivities start Friday evening, I think we could leave G2G'17 on Thursday morning and be ok - although that would still be pushing it a bit. If the festivities start any sooner, our visit would be so brief, it would be hard to justify the plane tickets or car rental.
