Do any of yall know anything about the maxxis buckshot mudder tires? I'm looking at buying some in a 305/ 70 r 16. So far I've read a lot of good things about them, but just wondering if any of you have any personal experiences with them know any info at all. thanks a lot

I had a set of QR78-15 (36 x 12.50) radials on my Bronco.

Not the best riding tire around (compared to BFG), but if you want traction in the mud and snow they can't be beat. They will sling crap into the next county! :-X04

They don't wear to bad, maybe 35-40K. They are noisy but not overly obnoxious like a Bogger.

Mine were made by Gateway, and this was about 5 years ago when they wore out and I got the BFG's. I think it's the same tire as the Maxxis?

i had a set of 315/75/R16's on my truck just previous to my 38's. Look in my profile for pictures. I had them on for about 16,000 miles with absolutly no promblems. In fact i really liked them.. and the price was VERY right. I just wish they made them bigger! I say go for them... they may not have the most stylish sidewall, but for the unbeatable price and good wear you truly cannot go wrong!

I had a set of Q78 x 15R Buckshot radials, and I loved them. I tried to buy another set, but I was told that size (15") rim was discontinued. I hear that size is available in the bias-ply is still made.

The QR78-15 are still availible thru Les schwab tires. But they do wear fast on a heavy rig anything bigger than older bronc. Try the new Goodyear MTR's run good and are queit.:D

Just bought a set of LT235/85R16 for my '97 F250HD. Haven't had them long enough to drive in rain or snow, but they appear to be pretty good tires. At $115 each, you can't beat the price!
