Body shop in LA
 

No response in the Bodywork forum, so I'll re-post here:


Anyone care to recommend a reliable body and paint shop in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles?

I'm working on '79 F250 Custom, an old work truck. The body panels are fairly straight, but it needs a lot of attention to details. This is not going to be a show truck, but it's gotta be right. Maaco or Earl Sheib just won't cut it!

There must be at least a ka-zillion body shops out there, but I'm hoping someone has had a good experience they can share! I have found one possibility, Same Day in Newhall. Anybody know anything about these folks?

Best body shop I know. He's a lil pricey but the work is awesome. Just stop by his shop some time and look at the cars he has in there right now. You'll see my buddy's Blue 66 Mustang and just be wowed. Maybe by the time you go, you'll see my 65 Mustang in there, too. It'll be the one with no paint on it and a new tail panel getting put on.
