Traded in the Gen2 for Gen3 Expy, me Likey!
Our 4th Expedition over the years as the kids grow up and approach college......our first SUV was a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo with a GM V6 in it a long time ago. We then traded it for a brand new 2000 Isuzu Rodeo and then moved into a gen1 expy after the brand new rodeo ended a short block???? Kept that expy for a while and then got a 2003 expy then traded for a 2006 expy limited and just recently traded for 2012 expy limited.
The expy has 42k and the pictures are with the automatic running boards down......wish I could make them stay down 100% of time!!?? By far, this expy is one of my favorites!!! It's my wife's, but I've been driving it now and then in between my daily 4x4 (b7 rs4). Congrats on the new ride. There is a setting so that the boards will stay down all of the time. Hopefully someone who has them will chime in (I believe it is in the info screen)

The setting only works until you drive away, then you have to reset the setting......so if I was washing the truck I could set the running boards down, however once I drive 5 mph the boards retract and go back into auto mode. Oh well!

IMO it looks better with the boards up, and gets you a little more ground clearance.
