4.9l TPS?

SO I need to changed my throttle position sensor on my 92 f150 4.9l and the parts store show three different part numbers for it and a pretty big price difference between them. Can anyone tell me howI can tell which one to get because they look identical to each other.

Same brand? Many outfits sell different grades of quality for the same part # (US, Mexico,China). If they are all listed for the same vehicle buy the one you, and the parts guy, think will work best.

Maybe try another parts store… they may have a different selection.

NAPA told me i had to get number of old tsp so they could tell which one to get this was only emission part they had to do this for on my 4.9, apparently ford changed things mid production on certain years. that's what i was told i don't know that for a fact,but there it is.

That would make things easy but I dont have the original one. Mine has been changed before. Can you guys tell me which one did you get if you changed it before

OK I believe I figured it out. I called my ford dealer and wasn't able to get much info from them. They said they only sell the throttle body with the tps and couldn't sell it separately, but he too listed three different ones. One listed if you have a c6,e4od, and either the 4r70w or aode(cant remember what he said). Last night I bought the cheaper of the three p/n EC3019, which I believe is for the c6 because when i put it on and drove it I had the CEL come on and had some weird shifting and it wouldn't go into OD. Today I went back and traded it out for p/n EC3028 which is the most expensive and that one seems to be fine. So far no CEL or weird shifting

These are bwd part numbers.
EC3019=C6
EC3007=Aode/4r70w
EC3028=e4od
