John Wayne Manure Spreader in American Rifleman
September 2014 American Rifleman, page 33 has a gussied up '52 F1 1:34 model John Wayne edition, Hamilton Collection. They list it as an F100. :-roll Pretty gaudy, almost right but still Ford.

I've got two versions of that model, one with fake dirt on it (even on its WWW's). I swear, they have everything but a Barack Obama Commemorative Edition out there :-X18
Will watch for the John Wayne version in my magazine! It's an amazingly accurate model, even in the engine compartment. |

Turdota Silverado or Hundie Ram anyone? Of course the UAW would have been out millions since those overseas outfits put their factories in right to work states. Oh, well. Prolly stepped on some toes here. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/business...-10-5-billion/ http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics...ost-taxpayers/ Built Ford Tough, without your tax dollars! |

I hope they don't soil a Ford with his likeness. Anyhow, it would have to be a Chevy or Fiat (Dodge, or Ram, or whatever they call their pickups), since Ford didn't take any gub'mint money. I think they should give Chevys and Fiats away to any taxpayer who wants one since we got shafted for billions in the final count.

Good idea!

That John Wayne truck is just simply awkward, ugly, and an obvious attempt to continue to exploit that man's image for yet another dollar. I'm guessing "John Wayne Enterprises" has a list of fans all over the world who will shell out a dollar for anything. Here's the Bradford Exchange version. They call it an "F150". Morons.

SAVE YOUR MONEY
I was given on of these"models" for Xmas. What a disappointment!:( Poorly made molded resin, solid one piece (of crap). Wheels and tires are part of the casting and do not turn. Windows are painted on. Hood and doors do not open. Nothing moves. Casting is rough and irregular. Paint is dull and poorly applied. Decals are rough and dull looking.
DO NOT waste any time or money on this joke. You WILL be disappointed!! They even did a TERRIBLE job casting the big Hamilton Collection "H" that comes with it (for whatever reason they send THAT!):-arrgh:-arrgh:-arrgh |
What better truck for an Obama truck than a manure spreader:-X22
