Saw this Ford over the interstate
 

Not the clearest photo but I was hauling 7500 gallons of diesel down one of our "smooth":D Indiana interstates. Wonder what year and model Ford that is??

That's pretty. I wonder what the occasion was. But I have no desire to do that. Something about getting into a basket strapped to a big piece of fabric with a blow torch in the middle while I'm suspended thousands of feet off the ground just doesn't appeal to me. Plus it doesn't have a steering wheel....:-hair

A friends wife bought him a ride in a balloon and he said it was a great experience. Came down with a bit of a bump in someones yard eventually, I think. His wife followed along behind the balloon chase car and said they went the wrong way up one way streets, and were flogging along through the city to keep it in sight. Quite an experience for her too I guess.

Here in Albuquerque, NM we have an annual Balloon Fiesta in October. It draws balloons from around the world. It quite a site to behold.

......but.....the balloon chase crews can be a bit of a pain. I usually try to be out of town that week....LOL

I'll look for that Ford Balloon this year though
