66 F250 Project, need ideas

I'm going to start working on my 66 soon and I was hoping to get some ideas from you all for the interior. The truck is painted red. Currently the inside of the cab needs paint, some type of covering on the floor, and upholstry work.

-I'm considering painting the inside white. What color do you have yours painted on the inside? Does it match the outside or did you do a different color
-Although I'll do a decent amount of driving off road, i think I'd like to put carpet. Would you recommend buying a pre cut carpet such as something from jc whitney? They seem to have bad reviews but i'm not sure where else to get carpet from and I dont think I'd feel confident enough to try and cut my own
-What did you do for seat work? Did you do buckets, a bench from a newer vehicle, have the factory bench re-upholstered? If you want to put some inside cab pics in this post that'd be great! Thanks in advance

My truck is a '66 F100 (not a 250) Custom Cab, LWB 4 x 2, (formerly) 4 speed, so may not apply to your situation. I'll put up two pictures of it right after I brought it home, as stock, before I restomodded it. You can see the interior is two tone, with the top of the dash mirroring the exterior body color - unless you have the black padded dash. Below the stainless steel (or whatever it is) trim the dash is (or was) a cream color - perhaps Wimbledon White as the hood (and other parts) is/are in the factory two tone paint job. So that's the stock look. I put carpet in my truck. Someone recommended Auto Custom Carpets (ACC) of Birmingham, Alabama to me and I am very pleased with the fit and quality. Remember, there are different floor configurations for our trucks depending on whether they are 3 on the tree or auto trans, 4 speed, or 4 wheel drive, and the 4 x 4 cabs are different to the 4 x 2 cabs in the '66 F250 so be careful. I also put sound deadener under my carpet - and throughout the cab and doors - and it makes a huge change for the better. I highly recommend it. You can get a good quality reproduction of your stock upholstery from SMS in Oregon. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
