6637 Filter

I have a 97 f250 7.3 and wanted to put a filter on it. So I go to the Riff Raff web site create an account, go to order the filter and their closed until the 25th. Now I own a business as well and I wouldn't close my shop for nothing (until one gets cancer then things change ;)). So my question is, what is another good site that you guy's use when one is closed. I don't want to wait until next week to get something. Also, I don't have time or the funds to redo the exhaust but the person before me had the cat removed so hopefully the air filter is a little start.

TIA

The filter can also be found at NAPA. Riffraff is nice cuz it comes with the elbow so you'd have to figure that part out.

Just get it from Riffraff. If you go back to their website it says "Our office will be closed July 14th-25th. Shipping on orders during this time may be delayed 24-48 hours". Just the office is closed and that is because Clay is hosting the RRE Event in Tennessee (his office is in Oregon). Clay normally ships your order the same or next day, now it may be delayed 1-2 days. I think that's pretty good for being on the other side of the country.

He is driving back across the us from gratiously hosting THE event of the year and putting up with a dozen of us. I would just wait a bit.his service is second to none..its worth it :-)

If you need something stat, and I get that when it comes to mods, go to Napa like what has already been mentioned for the filter. Then head over to Lowes or Home Depot and grab a 45* elbow for $4.00 that fit's the filter and stock intake hose and you'll be set!

That's cool, thanks!

Awesome, great source for the Elbow and it won't rust like the steel exhaust one, and much cheaper!!

tshrager 07-23-2014 12:12 PM

Just a fair warning. My local napa wanted almost 30 bucks more than Riffraff was shipped on a replacement 6637. I waited for the snail mail.

dclack 07-23-2014 12:26 PM

Yup! Napa wants $63.99 for a filter that Clay sells for $28.99+ shipping.

FWIW, I placed my order on thursday around 11 pm, and it got here today. Not bad for half the staff being on the other side of the country.
