Replacement of 5.4 2V with 5.0 in F350 ZF6?

I have a 2002 F350 CCSB 4x4 with Zf6. I work my truck as snow plow trek, camper hauler, boat toter, etc. the 5.4 does well, but after driving a 2013 GT Premium this last week, I started thinking about swapping the 5.4 with a BOSS 5.0. I have read that the 5.0 is a bolt in for any of the mod motors. Motor mounts, bell housing etc bolts up. I also see that there is a standalone wire harness for the 5.0 with manual trans. Also my superduty has plenty of room in front to even use the mustang intake parts. But my concern is the alternator location. I am not sure it will work for the earlier superduties... Any thoughts?

PS, I can't just go to a Ford dealer and look. There is a Ford dealer on the island, but they only have 4-12 cars and trucks at any one time.....

It will bolt up but for the cost, you would be better off rebuilding your 5.4 with mild performance upgrades. I do love mine though in my F150. It has more hp, the same torque, and double the mpgs as my F250 with a 460.
