Need 1998 F-250 LD suspension pics!

Hey guys,

I'm currently preparing to move back to Canada in 6 months and I'm taking my tuck with me.

To make a long story short, in order to get it passed the inspection to bring it home, it must be in original factory state... Meaning specifically no lifts, level kits or crazy engine mods.

I'm not sure on the levelling kit thing, because I noticed there are some blocks under the leafs in the back. I don't know much about what this is supposed to look like stock, and the dealership is less than helpful...

Wondering if somebody who owns one of theses babies unmolested can post pictures of the front and rear suspension, as well as measurements from the centre of the wheel hub to the bottom of the wheel well?

Thanks!

I may be able to help you out. You like for me to post them on here, or can you send me your email through private message? You need a certain number of posts before you can use the PM function...

That's perfect!

I was thrown off by the triangular piece between the spring and the axle in the rear suspension. I thought for sure it was a levelling block. My truck looks the same (except it comes from California so there is no rust!)

:-drink

Thanks again!

I think that block is factory installed. Probably to visually separate the men from the boys. That is, the 150 from the 250.

This truck has seen many things, hence no paint on frame. 462,000 km just does that, especially when a large percentage of that us gravel roads. Alberta has no shortage of them!
