Gas cap
1976 Highboy, in-cab tank. Am I correct in assuming that my gas cap, that has printed on it "vacuum -pressure" is a non-vented cap?

The only reason you would have a non-vented cap is if there was a evap system plumbed in .. There would be 2 fuel hoses going to the engine bay one to the carb and another to a charcoal canister .. My 76 highboy has no such system plumbed and is a vented gas cap ..

Same here. Mine was a vented cap as well with one fuel line out only. |
I would assume that cap is unvented, yes.

Thanks guys. I am going to have to find a vented gas cap then since the charcoal canister is long gone. Any one seen a chrome vented cap for the highboy's. I think I found a painted version but would prefer chrome.
