Squealing tires on dirt

How many of y'all have ever squealed tires on dirt? I never believed it could be done until I did it once.

Yes I have. Back a few years ago the county did some work in front of my house. They used red clay to cover up some rocks. They didn't put gravel on it for a long time and the clay got polished up real good. A friend left my house rather quickly and we both heard a squeal from the tires. He backed up and did a nice burnout. Well of course I had to do one so I took my 74 Hi-Boy out there. A burnout, but not impressive. Went back and got my 81 C10 and did a MONSTER burnout! The neighbor up the road heard us and brought down his Dodge V10 and roasted his tires pretty good. Another neighbor came by with his old beater 84 F150 and wanted to play but his brakes wouldn't hold him still. So I got the Hi-Boy and chained him to it. Man what a burnout! He even popped a tire! We had the road so black it looked like asphalt! So yes it can be done just like on Dukes of Hazzard!

not a big deal really, as long as the dirt is packed hard

I've done it many times. My favorite and scariest was doing donuts in my old bronco II I had at one point two tires in the air and quickly realized it was time to be done lol
