Howdy Steve. Not too bad. How about yours?

not too bad.. Went and got my eyes checked for glasses. Now resting before I head off to work

Sounds good Steve. Im not due for my eye exam until this fall.

My last exam was about 15 years ago.. No sense rushing things..

I go once a year. Then again I have to so I can keep my contact lense prescription current. I will have to replace my glasses this fall. The frames on the current ones are starting to give up. One of the arms has a screw that is stripping out the threads. Keeps coming loose.

Maybe you could put a touch of loctite on it.. She wants me to come back in a couple years.. Got to pick out my glasses Thursday.. I was tired sitting around down there. She couldn't get my eyes to dilate..

I could Steve but the frames and lenses are a few years old at this point. Wouldnt hurt to just replace them.

Can't really complain Steve. How's you?

Not too bad. When to the eye doctor this afternoon.. Ended up working with dilated eyes.. Was interesting.. One guy called off.. Had to take his wife to the hospital..

That sounds interesting. I guess the wife and hospital are a good excuse for missing a days work.

That it is.. Just made me work more.. No breaks at all..

No fun with no breaks.

Really had too much to get done. Not sure what day shift did.. The boss is on vacation..

Sometimes boss gone is play not much work time.

Except for me.. I am considered the boss of the closing shift, but without the pay..

Great when you get the handle but not the pay.

No it isn't.. I told the boss I wasn't getting paid enough for what he had me doing?? Then the store manager brought up pay with me and he quickly decided that was a mistake..

Ahhhhh the old maybe he should have left that subject alone.

That is what he mumbled as he left..

Not surprising huh.

They said I could get a better raise if I would change jobs titles. Go from a loader to a CSA.

Customer service ?

Customer service associate..

I thought it was something like that.

That is what most of the employees are titled as..

I guess it kind of makes sense. That's what the job entails.

I like being a loader. I have to take about a third the computer tests that the rest have to take..

Sounds like a song and dance to get the CSA title.

I just don't want it.. Just like I don't want full time..

Stick to your guns then. If you are happy with your title and job why change.

That was my thought.. don't think I am going to change ends either.. One of the bosses wants me to move to lumber..

That would probably be a little heavier work load.
