Superchip Flashpaq 1865
 

First post. Starting to improve my '06 Exp. K&N intake, larger wheels and tires, and a lift. I found a Superchip Flashpaq 1865 on CL, and I am going to take quite a drive to get it. Not locked, and I think it will work with my rig. I have been waiting for a good reason to join and ask for help, and I think I am there. I have done some searching in the forums, but I am driving and buying tomorrow after work unless Someone gives me a good reason not to. I want to fix the difference from the tires and improve my mileage. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the forum. The tuner will definitely fix your speedometer when you adjust for your tire size, which may also improve your calculated mileage as well. As far as the other claims about MPG and HP increases, i feel it does both but you won't notice a huge difference.

I also like the tuner for the diagnostic features. You can scan codes and see live data from engine components and sensors. Making sense of it all is the hard part. :-jammin

I picked it up today, but I can't install it until my rig gets back from the body shop. It was parked while I was working and a semi tried to turn and got me with his tail swing down the driver's side. It's going to be about 10 days to fix it.
When I get to hook it up, I will do a bit of "before and after" testing to see what it is really doing for my mpg and hp. Should be fun, I love new toys!
