I think I want to tint my windows, but would like to know what it looks like. Can anyone post some pictures?

Stock photos of the Bronco after about 1990 all depict the windows tinted as it became an extremely common factory option. If you decide to tint yours let me know, I have at least one spare set of deep tinted "top" windows. They are rather easy to swap.

mine are limo tinted so just print your picture and use a magic marker to blacken them.

Better check your states laws.

Tint Laws

I've had "limo" on a lot of my vehicles including commercial trucks and I have never gotten a ticket for illegal tint. An old friend had his windshield tinted, (big no-no), and the cop told him start scraping or call a tow truck. USUALLY, Florida is a little forgiving due to the heat and sun down here. It's more than likely you getting pulled over for doing something stupid....then he'll give you an additional ticket for window tint. Then I guess there are cases of Mr. Officer just taking his job WAY too serious and has an overactive pen!!

Anyway, you can get good, high quality tint and still block heat and some light and be legal. Watch the rules for each state as they vary greatly.

Here is a handy vehicle viewer from LLumar that will give you an idea of what you vehicle will look like.

I can have 50% on the front, and Limo tint on the rear, but it is not enforced around here, so I may do a darker tint up front

Just a warning... if your tailgate glass has a defrost grid on it, tinting is out unless you want to kill the defrost option.

I wish I had defrost, I rarely see broncos at all in minnesota, and I don't think I've seen one with a rear defroster

This is no longer true. There is a newish tint out that works well with defrosters. The name isn't coming to me, I'll ask my buddy who does audio/tint for a living what it is tomorrow (assuming I don't forget :D ).

Solar Guard makes the defroster friendly tint in all shades and a couple of colors. Auto Films
