That can put a crimp in your day... Time to get out the pencil and paper..

fire240 02-11-2014 03:42 PM

Didnt affect the report system or internet. But it affected 2 other systems we use. But they switched to a backup and are back online again.

Steve GG 02-11-2014 03:48 PM

That is good.. Means you can keep up with you paperwork, so to speak..

fire240 02-11-2014 03:54 PM

That it does Steve.

Steve GG 02-11-2014 04:16 PM

Checking the local weather.. They say 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow. May be another day of rest.. There was snow on the ground this morning. A friend South of me and on the mountain has 6 1/2 inches already with more coming..

fire240 02-11-2014 04:18 PM

They are saying at least a foot here Steve.

Steve GG 02-11-2014 04:22 PM

I saw that was possible in that stretch just in from the east coast.. One of my sons works for the city, so he is in town for the duration..

fire240 02-11-2014 04:23 PM

I have to be at work so if they close the university on thursday I will get snow pay. If it closes on friday I will also get snow pay.

Steve GG 02-11-2014 04:44 PM

I don't get snow pay.. But it really doesn't matter..

fire240 02-11-2014 04:45 PM

I only get that if they close the university. If it stays open then it will be a regular days pay.

Steve GG 02-11-2014 04:52 PM

Maybe you will get a little time off with pay..

fire240 02-11-2014 04:54 PM

I took saturday off and will be paid for that but otherwise it wont happen.

Steve GG 02-11-2014 04:59 PM

So snow pay is if the place is closed and you show up for work..

fire240 02-11-2014 05:07 PM

Pretty much Steve. And we dont get it on teh weekends or holidays when teh university is already closed.

Steve GG 02-11-2014 05:29 PM

I looked at another local weather station and they say 4-6 inches.. I guess it is wait and see.
