Was a gm thing Pontiacs till 64. Feds stepped in in 65 and made everyone standardize like Ford and other brands. That Buicks starter button is connected to throttle linkage. You had to floor it to crank the engine.

I'd say 1980 Tom..I'd say whoever gets it should bottle that dust, barn find dust has a pretty good price tag on it..
