I want to see the guy in overalls get into and out of it! Other than that my only question is why?
Brian

I agree, those wheels are horrible.

4tl8ford 12-30-2013 08:25 PM

They think they are being cool - more like fool or tool
They are like the ones with their bodies pierced with metal and covered with tattoos

Every time I have the chance I tell them "The first time I saw someone that looks like you I wasn't impressed, nor am I now - You are dismissed."

GB SISSON 12-30-2013 08:32 PM

The first rat rod I ever saw I thought was kind of original and clever. Every one since then I fell fast asleep....:-X17:-X17:-X17:-X17:-X17:-X17

Well, if he has a bad accident, he's already in the coffin.

bobj49f2 12-30-2013 09:00 PM

I've said it every time the subject is brought up, I've seen one that I was worth more the scrap value and I would not want any to be.on the road, anywhere me.

75Three90 12-30-2013 09:06 PM

I've seen some very clever and some not so clever. I plan on building one but I want to use a dent side

raytasch 12-30-2013 09:12 PM

I'd be across the road viewing some of that nice looking iron over there.

firstrider 12-30-2013 09:16 PM

I just threw up in my mouth !!!! Please some one explain what should be an extinct species . Just because you can , doesn't mean you should .

Harrier 12-30-2013 09:23 PM

So he spent all that time and effort to make that thing and didn't think to put in a top entrance....
Those wheels and tires cost enough to get me a long way to getting my truck fixed up.

Dave, with what gets called rat rods now, I wouldn't put yours in that same classification.

oldmerc 12-30-2013 09:26 PM

I honestly think some of these guys have have a lot of talent that is sadly wasted .}>

Those are not considered to be rat rods around here. They are still identifiable. Huge difference between your vehicles and that cap wedge with wheels. I want to see that "skinny" boy in the overalls climb in that thing.
