Good morning and happy hump day all!
This week is just trucking along and now we're headed for the weekend... As of right now, the weather guessers are calling for mix bag of goop to be part of next week from Sunday on. Ugh, I guess we'll see. Have a great, safe Wednesday all. :-wink |
Good morning PA.

Good morning and have a productive hump day PA Scott Kathy and Bill

Morning folks. If things break, it's certainly better that they do in the driveway.
|
Mornin Bill
What broke? |
Morning Charlie. Not exactly sure yet...but the Expy wouldn't run at more than a couple hundred RPM last night. Getting O2 sensor related codes, but it almost seems like it's fuel starved. Ran great Saturday, changed the MAF Sunday and it seemed alright, then last night after work it just "went" after I got home.
|
Check the air tube from the air box to the throttle body.
My 95 has a habit of it coming off, and it does exactly that because the MAF sensor don't see the air flow. Problem with mine, is a broken motor mount I have to fix. When I put the truck in reverse while it's still high idle, the motor raises up |
I checked a bunch of things last night. I have my mechanic going up to get it in the interests of time and also because I lack the tools to check fuel pressure - which is something I am particularly interested in. I put a fresh filter on it on Monday night, and it ran fine yesterday morning.
|
I hope it's something simple
Fuel pumps are expensive. |
Makes 2 of us. Cheapest pump I saw was $90. And I don 't have the height in my garage to get the thing high enough to drop the tank easily myself.
|
Good morning PA, happy Hump Day! Good luck with the Expy, Bill.
|
Probably has a full tank too.
Mine usually do when the pump goes up On the bright side, the pumps usually don't just loose pressure. They either work or don't I suspect a fuel pressure regulator if it's fuel related |
Morning Pat and thanks.
Charlie - oddly enough, around half tank. Not completely full in any regard. Scott even made mention that it sounded a bit fuel starved. Might explain why I had to keep my foot in it to keep it running too. |
