It's a 69 F100 the ford dealers are no help they don't have a listing going back that far. :-huh Uh huh... :-yeahrigh

370608-S .. Bolt-P/S pump mounting bracket (3A732) to engine block / 3/8" -16 x 3/4" long.

Most dealers still have the parts catalogs, but since most of the parts are obsolete, they don't want to bother (wasting time) looking up parts they can't sell you, so they just "shine you on." :-arrgh

thanks number dummy for going to all the trouble of posting the diagram of the power steering pump and parts that was kind of you I will try that size thanks also to f5ford girl. I so much want to get the pump and new gear box fitted and then I can fit an automatic steering column that will be reconditioned with all new parts and last but not least a fully reco c6 tranny so this old man will have a nice cruiser lol if I ever haul anything with it will be in a trailer behind my truck once I get it all done I will try to post some pics I still don't know how to do that stuff :)

I feel your pain, been wanting to do ps/pb swap for some time finally got off my rear and decided to do it. Found a junk yard that had 360 pulleys and bracket and he got p/s box off a '70 but the column was gone. Now I have to decide how to cut my original column down. Thanks to FTE I have lots of insight. Already have the disc brakes mounted and ready to hook up but while I was fitting the power booster I decided it best to do the p/s as the column looked like it would have to come off. Since the firewall plate is going to be slightly off now I am going to have to figure out a way to make that look decent.... Mine is a 3 on the tree and I already bought a floor shifter so while I have that apart looks like a good time to start that as well! The song "One Thing Leads to Another" comes to mind. Did I mention I have taken grill and trim off and started the bodywork as I have to repaint?

hi yettiman I have been through all this one thing I can tell you for sure is if you are converting to ps you will have to get the bracket that bolts to the firewall it is stamped power steering on the back of it you cant use the one that comes of manual steering give tom a call from flashbackf100,s.com he supplied me with my bracket and he is going to supply me with a fully reconditioned automatic power steering column so I can change my three on the tree to automatic best of luck with your project my biggest problem at the moment is finding the right bolt size to mount my ps pump it is not 3/8 x 16 I already tried that :)

It's sooo easy guys, why are yall stuck on making it hard. Buy a 73 & up donor truck and get ALL the correct upgrade parts. You will have everything needed to convert your truck in one place.

My power steering pump came out of a 1970 truck.....the bracket and column was already gone. Believe me, if I could find a "donor" truck I would have bought it a long time ago and saved myself some $$$ on the disc brake conversion.......

The bolt size you're looking for is a 7/16 X 14. Use length and spacers as needed depending on what bracket you use and if you have AC etc.
I just finished my power steering power disc conversion yesterday (well almost). Still have to suss out the belts and bleed the brakes.
What a hoot!
