A trip to the media blasters wed. w/ 7 boxes ( 95 parts ) of Magic air heater parts , splash guards , FORD script heater cases , '48-'50 blower motor housing & etc. Have a line on 10 Magic Air heaters out of state ( Wis ) where I may be making a non scheduled trip as Mom is not doing well .So can pickup the heaters & write the trip off as a business expense .It is a 1632 mi. trip one way w/ a stop over in B-ham , Ala. to see daughter & granddaughter . She is a hoot . As am getting older & really hate the nonstop trips 1000 mi. in 16 hrs. ( the second leg of the trip which I have done many times will no happen this trip . Rockford , Ill. is enough for one day from B-ham .
Ordered some clear liquid plastic today for an attempt at making the clear Lucite panel that goes on the '51 Magic Air cable control panel .It reads Blower Air Defrost Temp . Also ordered some grey tint for the recently reproduced knobs & some release agent to make an inside mold ( buck ) for the e-brake cable boots. |

Nice work! An amazing amount of heater parts.
|
WOW! You sure have built up your inventory. Are you bringing any to Truckstock?
|
That is an impressive collection of Ford truck heaters; as always, nice work.
If you get the chance once the restoration on a few of these is finished, could you take a picture with each style of heater side by side? That picture would be a great reference to compare heater styles. |

Normal for S.Fla in summer . |
Can't wait to see what you've been able to do with mine Denny. Good things are worth waiting for though, and with your level of perfection it will be awesome.
