Morning Oregon!

Just formally joined this group, however, I've been registered on FTE for many years.

Started here with a 01 Ford F-250, then a 04 F-350 dually. Last vehicle was an 07 Ranger, that I towed behind a motor home.

Now, I just got a 13 F-150. So far, I have been really impressed with it.

Just wanted to drop in and say hello!

Howdy Chief, and welcome to the chapter! Where do you live in our great state?

ChiefGReid 08-15-2013 02:47 PM

Been in Hillsboro ever since I transplanted.

Got stationed in Portland in the 90s and retired in 98 after a couple of other tours where I left the family here.

Did not want to go back to the east where I had to shovel snow!

Aaah, a wet sider! I'm a dry sider and live and play in Condon...

welcome to the chapter Chief. I'm in Prineville, a dry sider, but I hang out in Beaverton a lot.

Welcome to the chapter Chief!

We won't hold the Portland address against you! LOL.

ChiefGReid 08-15-2013 10:14 PM

Well. Thank Heavens I don't live in Portland!! Frankly, I'd have to be beat with an ugly stick to go there!}>:-X19

I guess I just lump all the north valley towns into "Portland"..........At least you don't have to drive through Pewgene every workday.........ugh.

Belated good evening and welcome aboard Chief.

I'm in Sheridan - the folks have a farm between Ballston and Perrydale - 12 miles north of Dallas which I probably spend about as much time at as I do at home.

I just use what works, and the AK simply will NOT quit.
In the words of a US commander in Vietnam, "The only way to stop a AK from firing, is to kill it's user."

ChiefGReid 08-16-2013 12:10 AM

Very, very nice!

Yeah. I'm kind of a nut too - so it looks like I fell into good company!

As to the AK - it's and outstanding weapon. Don't change what works!:-drink

Welcome aboard Chief.

I'm a fellow wet sider from the greater Portland area too.

Thanks for your many years of service to this great country too.
